Your application for a Veteran’s Pin and Certificate of Appreciation

Veteran’s Affairs have temporarily suspended the issuing of the Veteran’s Pin and Certificate of Appreciation programme.

Due to COVID-19 a decision has been made to suspend the Veteran’s Pin and Certificate of Appreciation programme until further notice.

Suspending the programme during this unprecedented time will free-up staff to support other colleagues in other parts of Veterans’ Affairs. This will also ensure that VA can continue to provide critical support to veterans and their whanau.

Your application will continue to be held in the VA system and will be processed when the situation changes. When the situation improves, VA will begin to process applications again and you will be emailed.
