Leonard Frederick William Bates

In my local paper there was an article on the loss of Leonard Fredrick William BATES lost medals. Len Bates was a telegraphist on the Tutira and through an accident his medals were lost when they were placed on the roof of the car and the car drove off. The medals were lost in the Orewa area.
