WRENS ON PARADE

Images of the Queens Visit in December 1953.  The parade was held on the rugby field adjacent to the Senior Rates Mess and now the site of the Minor Warfare Training Centre and Bridge Simulator.  The second image shows the Marine Band at the rear so might provide an approximate date?  Sailors with blue jumpers in lieu of tropical shirts.
