LIND. David C. RNZN S/No NZ16597 Joined as JME 1/59 At about 1330 today 13-7-26 David Lind, ex RNZN S/No NZ16597 crossed the Bar after a battle with illness ” Rest in peace ” He brought HMNZS Waikato to NZ and also sang on the Waikato song.
Wall Doug (Bulkhead, Ziffel) crossed the bar in Australia on 12th July 2026. In line with Doug’s wishes his wife Dee and his son will be returning to NZ in the near future to scatter his ashes at sea. RIP shipmate.
