MCGOWAN, Thomas Vincent (Vince) Service no. RNZN 12209 Passed peacefully Saturday 30 May 2015. Aged 89. Beloved husband of the late Jean McGowan. Much loved Poppa to Lisa and Mikaela and dear friend to Mike. His family in the UK express their gratitude to all who knew and cared for him. In Vince’s words “see ya later navigator”. SOWDEN, Walter Neil 11365 RNZN Petty Officer R.E. 1947-53. Mentioned by King George in dispatches during the Korean War 25 May 1951 (Gazette Issue 39236). Neil passed away Tuesday 26th May 2015. Loving husband to Doreen of 61 years, father of Paul and Melodie, poppa to David, Robbie and Reuben, great poppa to Kaylah, Elesha and Joshua. Brother of Verona and uncle of Craig. Now at rest. A service for Neil will be held at the Chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 8 Glen Road, Browns Bay on Wednesday 3rd June 2015 at 11am. MCDONNELL, Patrick Wayne (Mac) RNZN 1972-1979. Haere i te rangatira, moe mai, moe mai, moe mai i nga ringaringa o te Atua, no reira, Haere atu ra! Passed away suddenly on the 25th of May; 2015. Loving son of Kevin McDonnell. Adored husband of Fiona (nee Bassett). Father of Ismealia, Lisa, Lovinia, Parekure, and Kewene. Father-in-law of Ben, Shane, Reece, and Adam. Grandfather of Hohepa, Tiare, Hayley, Taylor, Cruz, Shaniqua, and Siobhan. Will be missed by his brothers, Mike, Geoffrey, and Colin, and by his sister, Lee. A service to celebrate Mac’s life will be held in the Fountains Memorial Chapel, corner of Elliot and Wood Streets, Papakura on Thursday the 28th of May at 10.30am.

At last with his beloved wife Winne, loving father of Christopher, Stewart, Maata and Ngamare. Father n law to Lorraine, Leah and Marty. Koko to all his beautiful moko’s and grand moko’s. The bestest Uncle to all his “Georges” and Nephews. He will lay in state at Ngati Otara Marae, Otara from Friday 22 May to Monday 25 May. His funeral will be Monday 10am at Mangere Lawn Cemetary, access via 85 McKenzie Road, Mangere.

Much loved father of Ann (and the late Fred) Gates, Jane Grierson (deceased) and James and Lynda. The funeral service for Trevor will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Nelson, on Friday, May 22, 2015, commencing at 2pm.

Dearly loved husband of the late Mamae, Loved father and father in law of Huia and the late Bill Anderson, John and Allanah, Criag and Sheryl (Melbourne), Warren and Katherine. The funeral service will be held in the West Park Chapel 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am. Private cremation thereafter.
