A gathering at Christchurch
Several communicators and partners gathered in Christchurch and enjoyed a wonderful meal and drink. The gathering was organised by John Bullock and hopefully was the first of many to come. These mini pop-up gatherings are great and allow many of us who cannot make the three-yearly reunions to still keep in touch. Far too many communicators are crossing the bar, so make the most of these gatherings. Waikanae is the next gathering being organised in March by Chris Farrow. Thanks, John B, for your organisation.

Looking at all the smiling faces of the two photos at the recent RNZN Communications POP-UP luncheon in Christchurch, the event’s success speaks for itself. It’s wonderful to see everyone enjoying each other’s company, and I’m sure, in true naval fashion, all the comms stories were true, perhaps with a little bit of elasticity to enhance the BL.
