Ukraine Just Pulled This Off… Russia Was HELPLESS

A Ukrainian Patriot air defense battery set up in a tree line in southern Ukraine with one mission: intercept a Russian Su-34 bomber carrying FAB-1500 glide bombs before it could strike Kherson. But to take the shot, the battery had to go active on its AN/MPQ-65 radar — broadcasting its position to every Russian asset in the region. What followed was a cat-and-mouse duel where the battery went active three times from the same position, each burst drawing Russian FPV drones, electronic warfare detection, and BM-21 Grad rocket fire closer to the tree line. Ukrainian Bukovel-AD jammers, counter-battery artillery, and FPV drone teams fought to keep the battery alive long enough to build a firing solution. When the radar finally went continuous, five PAC-2 GEM-T interceptors launched against a bomber defended by Khibiny-U electronic countermeasures and chaff. The Su-34 crew survived the first two missiles through skill and training. The third salvo changed the math. This video breaks down the full engagement — the electronic warfare duel, the guidance systems, the crew decisions under fire, and how the battery escaped before Russian rockets could answer.
