Japanese Mogami-Class Frigate for Australia

Australia has selected the Japanese Mogami-class frigate for its SEA 3000 naval program in a landmark AU$10 billion (US$6.5 billion) defence deal. Developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the Mogami-class frigate offers cutting-edge stealth design, integrated combat systems, and multi-role versatility. Three ships will be built in Japan, while eight more will be constructed in Australia under a joint production agreement, boosting both defense capability and local shipbuilding.
