HODGMAN, Clifton David (Cliff). RS(G) Born January 1, 1934. RNZN 13625. Passed away peacefully on 31 May 2022 aged 88 years. Father to Clem, Paul, Michelle, Steven, and Jeff Stepfather to Michelle, Martin, Adrien, Janine, Sean, and Brett. Cliff has 38 Grandchildren and 44 Great-grandchildren. Cliff was a great Navy man and loved his boating and fishing. Cliff travelled the world and even attended the Queen’s Coronation as a young 17-year-old sailor. Cliff served in the Korean and Malayan wars. We are extremely proud of Dad and will miss him very much. Rest In Peace Dad xxx. A service for Cliff will be held in the Main Chapel, Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive Henderson, Tuesday 7 June at 12.30 pm followed by private cremation.

Supportive and caring father of Barry (deceased), Kevin, Eleanor, Gael, Vicky, Thomas, Moira and Ruth, their partners and families. His many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren in NZ and Western Australia are inspired and entertained by their Poppa’s enthusiasm for life including his garden, travels, and computer skills.
