SWANN, Derek LT CDR crossed the bar 20 February 2021. Funeral service for Derek Swann will be held on Wednesday 24th February at 1400. It will be at Scotts Funeral Services 144A Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri. Refreshments on site after completion of service.Further details will be published when known.
UPTON, Robert Edmund: LT CDR It is with great sadness that the family of LT CDR Robert Edmund Upton announces his passing after a brief illness, on 17th February 2021, at the age of 83. Robert went peacefully during the night at the William Sanders Retirement Village, Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand. Robert was married twice: to Faith until 1974 and then to Beverley until her passing in 2016. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner Laurel, his four sons David, Andrew, Stephen and Richard, their partners, Bronwen, Emese, Catherin, and Emily and his eight grandchildren Michael, Catherine, Matthew, Mila, Harriet, George, Charles and Sebastian. POUTU, Fredrick (Fred): Able Seaman, Royal New Zealand Navy, 1965-1974. Passed suddenly at home on 5th February 2021. Loved partner of Tania, and dearly loved father to Raukura. Loving brother, brother-in-law, stepfather, cousin, uncle and papa. CORBETT, Richard John (Dick). NZ13354. On February 2, 2021, peacefully at Hawke’s Bay Regional Hospital, aged 88 years. Loved husband of the late Molly. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Robyn and Neville and Joanne. Special thanks to the staff of Princess Alexandra for the love and care shown to Richard.
