VIRTUAL ANZAC DAY SERVICE VIA ZOOM

As we all know ANZAC Day is just around the corner, but due to the restrictions placed upon us all this year, we will not be parading at a civic or RSA service. However, sailors are very innovative and reluctant to let these things slip so we have planned a virtual ANZAC Day Service via Zoom which will ensure we keep our distances but still able to enter into the spirit of ANZAC by maintaining the tradition of ANZAC Day.

So what will happen – The service will commence at 0900 however, the room will be open for you to join from 0830. To ensure your access please join the service prior to 0855 after which the doors will be locked. The service is restricted to 100 attendees. It is anticipated that service personnel from a number of remote locations around the world will also be attending. So get in early to ensure your seat!!

The ‘mute all’ will be applied to all attendees prior to the commencement of the service with only those who have a part to play being unmuted.

The service will be approx 20 mins long and will bring the spirit of ANZAC into your homes via video link. The invitation to join the service is copied below:
