Ques – What was the LF receiver installed on the ICS Leanders and what was special about it?
Answer – Outfit CJD. The front end had valves installed to supposedly counteract electromagnetic pulses (EMP) from a nuclear explosion. This would allow VLF/LF transmissions to still be received.
