SWINGING THE LANTERN – SOUTH ISLAND GET TOGETHER
There are a large number ex RNZN/RNZNVR(“Old Salts”) personnel living in Christchurch and the South Island, so we thought it would be a good idea to have a get together at PEGASUS in August.
All ex and currently serving sailors are invited but numbers will be limited So if you are keen, please register with either Rog or myself (details below) as soon as possible. We will also need to know numbers for catering etc
The cost is $5.00 (payable at the door) to cover afternoon tea, and there will be a cash bar, with good old navy prices……
DATE: SATURDAY 23 August 14
TIME: 1400-1800 (Lots of places around Victoria Street to move onto for a meal or more bevvies)
VENUE: HMNZS PEGASUS, 419 Montreal St, CHCH
We don’t have details for everyone but this will be sent by email to those we know, and will be also posted on Facebook. Please advise any of your navy oppos of the occasion and let them know they are most welcome.
