WWII Veterans – Can you Help?
A committee member has been talking with a photographer who is involved in taking photos for an exhibition to be displayed at next year’s War Memorial Museum Centenary. He is looking for ex servicemen/women who served during WWII in uniform.
He has been given some contacts which he will follow up but also asked if we could put up a small notice on our blog. Hence this post. He has approached the RSA however, time is getting shorter and he is now down to only 3 weeks before they finish the photo shoots. ;-
So if you have some time up your sleeve and think you can contribute to this display then please contact

Sean needs to know the mobility of volunteers as it means they allocate a certain day to photograph as many as possible in one place. Those that cannot get out – they will look at arranging other photographers to visit their homes but due to the short length of time left (3 weeks) they need to do this quickly.”
