Where were you?

Gerry Wright is putting together another publication and would like to know where you were on the following dates –
Three keystone dates of the Navy in New Zealand are:
14 March 1921 – the New Zealand Naval Board was constituted, by Order in Council, for the overall direction and administration of the Navy. The Royal Navy, New Zealand Division.
1 October, 1941 – The Royal New Zealand Navy was established.
20 June, 1968 – The New Zealand white ensign was introduced.  Where were you and, more importantly, how did you celebrate the hoisting of the new White Ensign on 20 June, 1968?
