Waikanae Comms Gathering
A recent gathering of Ex communicators at Waikanae took place on 16 March 2023. It was a great catch up and a few lies told over an ale or two. Was this Comms Get-together at Waikanae a “one-off” arrangement? Can’t seem to recall any thing in our rag abt it.

Yes, this was a one-off gathering but we had hoped that groups in different regions might get together and organise a get together of groups of communicators. If this is something that you would like to do in Rotorua the Comms Assn can assist by providing a list of communicators in the area. Chris Farrow arranged the latest get-together and hopefully, in another 6 or so months there will be another.

Gutted to have missed out on the lunch. Wife & I tested positive for Covid 2 days beforehand so had to advise Chris we could not attend after all. Looks as though everyone enjoyed it by the photos. Hope to meet up with everyone at another future occasion. Have now tested negative at last – Covid not an enjoyable experience as it hit harder than expected but guess we will all get it at some stage.
