A recently published book which may be of interest to communicators is
“THE MALAYAN EMERGENCY & INDONESIAN CONFRONTATION”
subtitled ‘The Commonwealth’s Wars 1948 – 1966’ by Robert Jackson
published by Pen & Sword Aviation.
It details the Malay Emergency and Indonesian Confrontation actions  – focusing primarily on the Army and Air Forces part in those campaigns – the Navy hardly rates a mention – but it is good background reading to understand why we were there and what we were supporting by our patrols etc with the frigates and sweepers.
