SERVICE IN SOUTH EAST ASIA

With respect to the Review of Service in South East Asia , a draft paper prepared by a consultant historian was presented to the Medals Policy Staff in Defence Headquarters. This paper is now undergoing final editing before being sent to the Minister of Defence. RNZRSA has proposed that the NZDF recommend to the Minister that a Joint Working Group consisting of representatives of the NZDF, Veterans Affairs New Zealand (VANZ) and RNZRSA be formed to undertake consultation and then finalise the report.
