Service Card Poll

255 of you took the poll to determine if you thought it was a good idea for the NZDF to issue a Service Card to service personnel on leaving the service.   The poll was overwhelmingly in support of the NZDF issuing such a card with 90% advising this was a good idea.  5% took the opinion that it should only be issued to personnel with ‘Operational Qualifying Service’ and the other 5% thought it a waste of time.

Thank you for at least having your say.  We will now forward the results to the Chief of Defence Force and see what the appetite is like in the NZDF for issuing such a card.
