Regret to advise that Noel Lyon Caine (Prof) (of Island Bay, Wellington) unexpectedly in his 92nd year. Passed away on Friday 27 April 2018 at Wellington Regional Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Irene. Much loved father of Joanne and Beth, brother of Mona (dec), father-in-law of Ian and Geoff. Beloved Grandad of Gryffon and Edie. Proud Manx descendant, Navy Veteran, ex-Raoul Islander and Civil Aviation technician. The world is a poorer place without him – a devoted family man always ready to help a friend in need. We miss him – especially his wry sense of humour. In accordance with Noel’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Wellington Free Ambulance in his memory would be appreciated.
