Operation Pilaster

A new book entitled ‘Operation Pilaster’ has been published.  Operation Palister covers the Kirk Government’s protest in 1973 against the French testing of nuclear weapons in the atmosphere over Mururoa.  This book contains much recently declassified information and chapter about veterans’ health issues.

Signed copies are available from Gerry Wright (8 Rowan Road, Epsom, Auckland, 1023) for $25.00 plus $5.00 P&P.

Gerry is now compiling stories from those who served in the Bathursts, Kiama, Inverell, Stawell and Echuca. Each story will be acknowledged. Photos will be appreciated but personnel should be named. While their story has been written, it is the addition of personal stories that give the book life.
