NZDF’s first woman Service Chief appointed

The first woman service chief across New Zealand’s Defence Force has been appointed the Chief of Army.

Brigadier Rose King was announced as the new Army head by Defence Minister Judith Collins on Wednesday, alongside Commodore Garin Golding as the new Chief of the Navy and Air Vice-Marshal Darryn Webb, who has been Chief of Air Force since last year.
