If you have been looking for the NZDF Medals site recently to see the latest on NZDF medals. You are out of luck. It would appear there has been a completely new website developed but all the information on medal reviews has disappeared.

I think it’s a good idea to apply for any medal you can think of just to give them something to do.
I have contacted them but like the long service medal review it will take time.
How long is a piece of string??!! I have been waiting since 2011 for the decision to be made on the new changes to the long service awards. 2020 and at 80 years of age – STILL waiting!!!! Well – if I manage to live another five or ten years – who knows? After my 15 or16 years of accumulated service, I may yet get an Efficiency Medal !
