Nuclear Testing Christmas Island 1957-1958

HMNZS PUKAKI – HMNZS ROTOITI
The New Zealand Nuclear Test Veterans  Association, respectfully request that if you are a Veteran of Operation  Grapple, a Child or Grandchild of a Grapple Veteran, that you please make  contact with our Families Coordinator, to enable us to offer you information in  regard to the possible effects of Nuclear Service.
It is our desire to  inform, and have on going contact with those who may be affected, not only for  ourselves, but for future generations. The New Zealand Nuclear Test Veterans  Association research carried out by Massey University found Operation Grapple  Veterans have suffered the same levels of chromosome (DNA) damage as found in  the Chernobyl clean up workers.
If you are already a NZNTVA member,  please update your contact info. If you would like to register your relationship  to a Grapple Veteran, please contact NZNTVA@gmail.com
Or alternatively,  contact Roy Sefton, 45 Newcastle Street, Palmerston North, Phone 06 358 4841
NOTE. If you are unsure whether your Husband, Father or Grandfather  served at Operation Grapple, contact either of the addresses above and we can refer his information to the ship’s crew lists.

Chairman, NZNTVA
