Medallic Matters

Two medallic matters were successfully resolved during the year. one of which was the eligibility of the of the 1957 deployment of HMNZS ROYALIST to Korea for the NZ General Service Medal clasp Korea. Examination of the regulations for this medal showed that they had been incorrectly interpreted with respect to this deployment and this was accepted by the NZDF. The medal has now been issued to members of ROYALIST’S ships company.
