MONTGOMERIE, Alexander Kelvin (Monty). 90 Years Old. 1st NZ Scottish Regt, RNZ Navy, WWII. Loving Husband of the late Doreen Evelyn. and Sandra, Stuart and Susanne. Loving Grandpa to Aaron, Kristina, Stefanie, Jessica, Allison. On Tuesday 30 October at 4.17pm our Dad passed away peacefully after a battle with Merkel cell carcinoma and pneumonia which restricted his breathing. He will be remembered particularly for a lifetime devoted as a field events athletics referee in Auckland, a jolly parishioner of Glendowie Presbyterian Church, a happy motor mechanic specializing in Honda cars for Percy Motors, a loving husband who looked after his sick wife for many a long year and a stable caring father for his three sons.
