WAYMOUTH, Michael Newcome. Commander RNZ Navy Retired. Peacefully on Thursday, 30 November 2017. Aged 84 years. Much loved partner of Hilary. Loved father and father-in-law of Belinda and Jake, and Jane and Evan. Loved grandad of Fionnula; Lily, Eloise, and Jasper. Loved brother of the late John. A Funeral Service will be held at St Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Hauraki Road, Leigh on Monday, 4 December 2017 at 1:30pm followed by private cremation. HIHA Pita Rangi Seaman RNZN. Born 8 May 1933 and crossed the bar 16 Nov 17. He was 84. Pita served in HMNZS TUI 1953/54 as an Able Seaman.
HEDLEY, Alfred Keith (Keith). Ser. No. NZ7086, RNZ Navy, Senior Seaman. On 27 November 2017, passed away peacefully at Kimihia Rest Home, Huntly Much loved husband of Ann for 72 years. Cherished father of Gavin, Derry, Colin, Lex, Desmond and their families. Loved grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 20. The family would like to thank the wonderful Staff at Kimihia Rest Home for their care and support. A Service for Keith will be held at the Chapel of Memories, 32 William Street, Huntly on Saturday, 2 December at 2 pm, to be followed by a private cremation. WEDGE, Christina (V29160 RNZN) Passed peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday, November 17, 2017. She lives on through her children, Samantha and Ijzaak, parents Grant and Joan, partner Greg, and brother Russel. She is forever loved and her infectious laugh and bubbly personality will always be missed. Christina will be cremated and returned to her hometown. MURRAY, Michael James (formerly from Wellington). Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 8 November 2017 at home (Ngatimoti) after battling MND for 10 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Jay and Laurie, loved brother and brother-in-law of Patricia and Adrian, Frances, Christine & Cliff, and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. Cherished soulmate and best buddy of Dayl. Dearly loved son of the late Eric and Jean (nee Parsons), loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Lena (QLD). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Carolyn Vickers, Lindsay and Colin Conbearra, and the late Nick.
