MCNAMARA, Kevin Bernard ((Mac) Ex RNZN, Communicator) left us Tuesday 28th June 2016 while at Waipuna Hospice Tauranga almost completing his 64th year. Son of Bernard & Ruina McNamara (both deceased). Loving husband of Judith Prior (Judy) and formerly of Jeni. Treasured Father of Katherine and Bradley, Father-in-law of Tim and Grandfather of Aria, Hazel and Landon. Brother and Brother-in-law of Gail and Jim, Barry and Sherryl and Uncle to their children. Always in our hearts. A Celebration of Mac’s Life will be held on Saturday 16th July 2016 at Fairview Golf Club in Katikati at 3pm. A donation towards Hospice would be welcomed in lieu of flowers.

WYATT, Norris Alfred. Service No 8944 Navy Sub Lieut. NAMR 2nd Lieut. WWII. On Tuesday 28th June 2016 peacefully at North Shore Hospital. Aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Betty. CLAUGHTON, Harold Walter. (Harry) RNZNVR SUB/LT (A) FLEET Air Arm 1939 – 45 Peacefully on 18 June 2016 after a courageous battle with family at his side, aged 91. Dearly loved husband for 63 years of Oriole. Much loved Dad of John and Carmel, Mark and Sarah, Diane and Michael Drake, (the late) Wendy, and Rachael and Lee. SHANNON, John Alexander: 1925 – 2016 (NZ8841 Stoker RNZN WWII, Ex cruisers Achilles, and Pellona. Life member of SCRSA) Died peacefully at Parklands Hospital in Christchurch after a long illness. Dearly loved husband of the late Betty, loved stepfather of Gay, Di and Paul, Jackie and Trevor and the late Robbie, beloved “Pop” of his nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. THOMAS, Rupert Trevor. RNZN 10369. On Wednesday 8th June aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Sue. Much loved father of four daughters, Jacqueline and Steve, Andree, Antonia and Syd, Anna and Chris and loved step-father of Victoria and Lisa.
