Loved mother and mother-in-law of Warren (Gayndah, Qld); Carla and Ken Humphries (Bargara, Qld); and Lisa (Invercargill). Much-loved grandmother of Jason and Clare. Peacefully, at Golden View, Care, Cromwell, on Friday, August 8, 2025, aged 101 years. Dearly loved husband of *Alice and *Marjorie, cherished father and father-in-law of Geoffrey and Moire, Ross and Vibe, Lyall and Joanna, Blair and Ann. Loved Grandfather of his 7 Grandchildren and 4 great-Grandchildren. In accordance with Bill’s wishes a private cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Friday, September 26, at 11.00am, followed by a light luncheon. Bill will be interred with Alice at the Charlton Park Cemetery thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for Hokonui St John. Phil passed away peacefully at Whangārei Hospital on 27 August 2025 after a short battle with cancer.
It will be a private cremation at his request.

On August 14, 2025, peacefully at Hutt Hospital with his loved ones at his side, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Wendy. Much loved father and father-in-law of Catherine and Charles Colpman, Travis and Karen. Loving Grumps to Lewis and Charlie. Special thanks to the Dr’s and nursing staff in Ward 4, Hutt Hospital for their beautiful care of John. A funeral service for John will be held in St John’s Anglican Church, corner Moonshine Road and Fergusson Drive, Trentham, Upper Hutt on Saturday August 23, 2025, at 11.00am thereafter private cremation at Akatarawa.

11 January 1937 – 6 August 2025 aged 88. Passed away peacefully at home. Husband of Pat for 69 years. Father of Debbie, Julie, Keitha, Geoff, Vickie and Russell. Grandad to 11, and Great-Grandad to 6. He joined the RNZN 28 May 1986 and served in HMNZS WELLINGTON. He left the RNZN 1 Nov 1988.

Passed away peacefully at home 4th Aug. Cherished long-term partner of Marilyn & wife Margo Wood (Deceased). Father of Jocelyn Wood (WN) and Katy Wood (LA), grandfather to Tom and Rose. He will be greatly missed by all his trout fishing mates, and MenzShed, Omokoroa. As per David’s wishes a cremation has taken place. A funeral service will not be held at David’s request. Thank you to Waipuna Hospice. When as a child I laughed & cried, Time crept As I grew old and more bold, Time strolled When older still I grew, Time flew Soon I shall find in passing on, Time gone.
