Much loved father and father in law of Fiona, Sarah and Eskil. Loved Poppa to Logan and Morfar to Stellan, Thea, and Kasper and loved brother to Ian and Robert. A service will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Friday 3 May at 10.00am, followed by private cremation.
BEAUCHAMP, John M, LT Cdr RNZN On April 19, 2019, suddenly and peacefully at Hutt Hospital. Dearly loved husband to the late Kathy and Rachel. Much loved father to Pippa, Jess, Nic and Jon, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Special thanks to the community of Woburn Masonic for making his last year’s such happy ones and to the staff of Hutt Hospital for their care on Good Friday. Dearly loved husband of 64 years of Anita and father of Greg, Kaye Nielsen, Paul, Murray, Robyn, Alan and Maree. Brother of Don and Bill who followed in his footsteps in the RNZN.John served two deployments to Korea on Pukaki and Hawea and was on Black Prince for the Spithead Review at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth.A lifetime member of the Lyndale Athletics Club and Past President of the Auckland Athletics association.
