HMS PURIRI – War Memorial Unveiling

Looking for survivors of HMS Puriri which was sunk by an enemy mine off Whangarei Heads 14 May 1941.  See attached Flyer by clicking HERE.

A new War Memorial located at Ocean Beach Whangarei will be unveiled to mark the loss of this vessel on 14 May 2011.  The Chief of Navy, Rear Admiral Tony Parr will be officiating.  See attached RSA Flyer by clicking HERE.
