The Communicator of the Year (COTY) award trophy – The Blackburn Trophy – has recently been refurbished, with a statuette of Mercury, the messenger of the gods, added to the top of the trophy. For the benefit of those who were unable to attend the CA Reunion last October, two photos of the refurbished trophy are shown here.
An HMS Mercury coffee mug. Unfortunately, this mug does not go with the trophy!
Speaking of mugs, does the CA have an official mug that could be sold to past & current serving members of the CA? Great fundraising ideas, and could be an ongoing sale item not a one off idea.
The association does not have RNZN Comms mugs. Food for thought though!
