Bottom row 2nd left …Martin Frost

    • No I don’t think so. Frosty didn’t join till way after 1965

    Standing 2nd left ?? Ireland

  • Rear: Te Oneone Kingi (Butch), Ken Ireland, Keith Walsh, Hayward, Kerry Brooker, Frank Lewis, Murray Nash, Lee Hallmond.
Front: Richard Blackmore, Keenan, Dan Warrington, George Naera, Unknown, John Titmus, Greg Knaggs, Neil Dorset.

  • I think the unknown in the front row was someone Nolan or similar. He along with Keenan and Hayward did not last long.

The guy next to Dick Blackmoore is a chap called Keenan from Hawkes Bay. He did not last past the Captains Kit Inspection and parade. Hayward and Kaye also left before we moved on to our actual Comms training in North head . Then the Signals side had a new guy join us- Peter Mitchell who transferred from the Seaman branch across to Comms- I think he came the ship Rotoiti.

    • That is correct Neill RNZN Lt (retired) Constable NZ Police (Retired) I did come from HMNZS Rotoiti.
