LUSCOMBE, Gordon William (Bill) – It is with great sadness we inform you of Bill’s passing on Sunday, August 18, 2013, in Wanganui. Our loved uncle, now with his Mum, Dad, brothers and sister. Bill was a loved son of the late Ned and Christina Luscombe. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Christina (Nina) and Doyle Sloan (U.S.A.) (both deceased), Ian (Ted) and Noleen Luscombe (Christchurch) (both deceased), the late George, and Marion Luscombe (Rangiora), James (Jimmy) Luscombe (Amberley) (deceased). Loved uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle to Eddie (deceased), Lonnie (deceased) and Janet and families (U.S.A.). MCGREGOR Frank Allen 1925 – 2013 (Service No 8406, RNZN) passed away peacefully on August 17. Dearly loved husband and pal of Lexie (Alix). Wonderful, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather of all his family. Frank will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Ward 2B, Tauranga Hospital for the wonderful care and attention given to Frank during his illness, it is very much appreciated. Frank’s farewell will be held at Mount Harbour Chapel, cnr Maunganui Road and Matai Street, Mount Maunganui on Friday, August 23 at 11.00am followed by private cremation..

HUDSON Robyn (Rock) Joseph WORM  BEM L16892 1961-1988  crossed the bar 15 August 2013. In Hospice Wanganui, on the 15th August 2013, surrounded by his family. Aged 69 years. Loving husband for 49 years of Judith.  Much loved and respected Dad of Polli and Edward Minnell, Richard and Desiree, Susan and Jason Young, and Phillip and Lizz.  Loved Grandy of Ross and Megan, Ben, Sophia, Maia, and Fran.  Loved Son of the late Alec and Frances Hudson.  Special thanks to Hospice staff for all their care of Robyn, donations to Hospice may be placed in the chapel atrium.  A celebration of Robyn’s life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre, on Tuesday, 20 August 2013, at 11.00am.
FRASER, John Evan (Evan). (Reg. No. RNZN 4726, A.B.) – On August 11, 2013, peacefully at Bainswood on Victoria, Rangiora, in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of Isobel, father and father-in-law of Peter and Niki, Carolyn and Peter Brookbanks, and Craig and Beverley, loved granddad of Olivia and Grant, John Evan and Claire; Blair and Anita, and Megan and Tony; Jordan, Tayte, and Emma, and a loved great-grandfather of his 12 great-grandchildren, and loved brother of Marc, and the late Gordon. Special thanks to the staff of Bainswood on Victoria for their care of Evan. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Evan to Starship Hospital would be appreciated, and may be made at his service. The Service to remember Evan and celebrate his life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, on Saturday, August 17, at 10.30am, private cremation thereafter.
