Passing of NOCA

On the 15 April, Captain Terry Herrick RN died in Masterton. His funeral will be held on Wedneday 22 April in Carterton. Terry was born in Napier and he won a Governor General’s nomination to Dartmouth entering the RN in 1925. He served on the NZ Station in LABURNUM & DUNEDIN. He was Captain of PHILOMEL and ‘NOCA’ in 1955-56 and ACNS in Wellington in 1964. Terry wrote a book in 1997 on his career in the Andrew entitled ‘Into the Blue,’
