NZDSM – Miniatures

If you are about to apply for your NZDSM and you are in possession of other medals, I would recommend that you add a further request in your application form and ask that you be issued with  the 18mm miniature medal.  This will then match your existing medals.  It is apparent that there are some 17mm miniatures also still being issued which don’t quite stack up in size against your existing medals.  The online version of the application form can be found by clicking HERE . Applications are still only open to those personnel who are aged 50 years and above.
If you are still serving as a member of the RNZN, RNZNVR, RNZNR you do not have to apply for your medal as it will be issued to you as a matter of course.  Good luck
