Due to a sudden medical event, Anna passed at her home 18 July 2025, aged 49 years . Forever loved by Colin, Jason and Annie, Paula, and Todd. Loved Aunty of Marcus. Loved by her furbabies, Indy and Maya. A service to celebrate Anna was held at the Southland Crematorium on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11.00am. Peacefully at Nelson Hospital on July 21, 2025, aged 99. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Jacquie and John Bassett (Wellington), and Angus and Jeanette (Perth, Australia), and much loved Grandad to Hamish, Elspeth, Kirsty and Caitlin. A service to celebrate Ralph’s life will be held at the Motueka RSA, 49 High Street, at 2.00pm, on Tuesday, July 29.

Solly passed away 3 July 2025 aged 79. Today I lost my best friend and partner whom I loved and will miss. Solly fought for social justice and was a trade union activist for many years. A good and trusted friend and comrade who will be remembered by many. A private cremation has been held. A celebration of Solly’s life will be held.
