Raise a Glass for Harvz – Two Years On
It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since we lost Harvz. His spirit, humour, and unmistakable presence are still felt so strongly by all of us who knew and loved him. To honour his memory, the family invites friends, mates, and anyone who shared a laugh or a moment with Harvz to join us for a relaxed and heartfelt evening.
We’ll be gathering for a “Raise a Glass for Harvz” at the Bays Club in Browns Bay on Friday, 18th July from 6.00 p.m. It’s a time to remember, to share stories, and to celebrate the life of a man who made such a big impact in such a down-to-earth way.
This isn’t a formal event—just come as you are. Whether you stay for a drink, share a yarn, or sit down for dinner with the crew, your presence will mean a lot.
Everyone is welcome.
Bring your memories, bring your stories, and most of all, bring your love for Harvz.

Would love to be there but a long haul from Timaru.
Remember the times when living in Hillary Cres and having to push the Skoda.
It was a real hoot living next door to you guys.
Relieved Harvz on Inverell when He went on His PO’s course, 1974 I think it was, we did the handover in the Splade and I sailed the next day.
I am sure the dits will flow as Harvz was a real character and will always be remembered.
