REUNION 2022 – UPDATE

While COVID continues to have a significant impact around the world, our New Zealand shores, up until now, have been reasonably well protected. Based on the latest information, and barring another national COVID outbreak, our 2022 Reunion at New Plymouth over the weekend of 8 – 10 April 2022 is confirmed to proceed. We are being told that the COVID vaccination rollout is on track so by April 2022, those who wish to be, can be well protected. 

Our very generous Reunion sponsors of TransPacific Timbers (Murray Kingham), ARE(NZ) (Ian Napier), Mitre10 Whakatane/Opotiki (Wayne Fowler) and the Birkenhead RSA have agreed to continue their support for our Reunion 2022. Many thanks to you all.

If you have already registered and paid to attend our Reunion, you need to do nothing further. Your original booking will stand. This includes your booking on any of our Reunion excursions. In relation to your accommodation, if you have reserved your accommodation at the Novotel New Plymouth Hobson, please give them a call on 0800 462 766, and using the promo code RNZN, reconfirm your reservation.

If you cancelled your Reunion attendance and have received a refund from our Treasurer, you will need to resubmit a Reunion Registration form and make payment of the relevant Reunion costs. Click HERE to re-register for the New Plymouth Reunion in 2022.

You will also need to rebook your accommodation. Novotel New Plymouth Hobson has confirmed that they are able to host our Reunion on 8-10 April 2022. The booking Promo Code for our 2022 Reunion is RNZN. If you intend to stay at the Reunion venue, please make your booking now. Bookings can be made directly on their website link https://novotelnewplymouth.com/ or by calling them on 0800 462 766.

No money needs to change hands to make this booking. We have only been provided with a limited number of rooms at the reduced prices. The Novotel has added extra dates on either side of our Reunion just in case people want to stay a few more nights. Please go to the Association’s blog and under the Reunion 2022 page you will find information on the Reunion venue and accommodation.

The Reunion excursions are unchanged i.e. Forgotten World Highway and Whangamomona Hotel lunch, the Stanleigh Gardens and the Reunion Golf. All events have been rebooked and our providers are looking forward to hosting our visit on 9 April 2022. When you complete your registration form, please advise us in which event you wish to participate (if any). If you have already booked one of our Reunion excursions, those bookings stand unless you
wish to re-evaluate your choice. If you wish to change or cancel your excursion, please email our Treasurer Dearne at treasurer@rnzncomms.org
