Part of the Khaki Mafia

Here is an image of a very old senior rating dressed in Khaki. This was one of the best rigs ever introduced into the RNZN.  Thanks R Coster for the image.

What I can’t understand is firstly, how come this sparker is on the upperdeck and secondly why is he trying to look like a Yeoman with binoculars and all.  A closet yeoman at last Chris..
