US Navy Radio Station Kohimarama

Some time ago when Peter Smith worked on the Communications History (Link – pg 12) the question was asked why was the United States Navy Receiver Station called PUREWA. Our ‘mole’ has been digging into archives and came up with the attached map which indicates there was a Railway Station called PUREWA.   Could this be the answer..  Thanks Fred W for the image.
