Yeoman’s Gold Wire Badge

I always knew that the Yeoman of Signals were special, but how can the price of a Chief Yeoman’s Branch Badge go up in cost by 100 percent in 5 years.  On the 1st September 1915 the price was 3 shillings and just over 4 years later on 1st January 1920, the price had doubled to 6 shillings and 1 penny.  That’s inflation.  Thanks Fred W for the images.
