The Giant Poppy

These images were sent in by John B who was in Auckland for the Ricky Martin concert.

The image is looking down from the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

The red discs represent the petals of the poppy and were obtained by donation.  Disc’s could then be written upon with a personal message.  One of the discs has Willie Apiata VC message on it.  Nice to see the messages some children have left.
