PETHERICK, Lindsay (Leon) Passed away after a long illness on Friday 26th September 2014. Dearly beloved father of Simone, and Charrissa. Loved father in law of David, and Damian. ARNOTT, John Laurence MStJ. Passed away on 15 September 2014 aged 73 years. A loyal and long serving member for 33 years in St John. Members are invited to attend John’s ashes interment tomorrow Friday at 11:00 am in the RSA Section at Maunu Park Cemetery, Cemetery Road Maunu. Full uniform with medals may be worn. John was the Whangarei Branch President of the Royal New Zealand Naval Association for some years.

FINN, Frederick (Fred). (NZ5719 RNZN.) On September 25, 2014 peacefully at Auckland Hospital, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret (Peggy), father and friend of Marie (RNDM), Gregory and Penelope, Stella and Charles, Kevin and Janet, Miles and Patricia, Anne and Mark, Poppa of Vincent, Amanda, Isobel and Emma, Anita and Micheal, Holly and Quinn, Elliot, Alona, Alya and Seira, Ashley, Sheree, Alexander and Alexia, Joel and Nicole, Declan and Ellie, Matthew and Thomas. The Family would like to thank the staff of Ranfurly Home and Auckland Hospital Ward 68 for their compassionate, friendly and respectful care of Fred over the past year and in the last days of his life.
