RITCHIE Rodderick Kenneth, (Ken) (Reg No 6384 RNZN) on February 11, 2017 passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Ashburton Hospital. Aged 92 years. Much loved husband of the late Betty. Loved Dad of Owen (Roly) and Kathy, Adele (Tich), Mark (Mickey) and Sandra, Paul and Jeanette, Wendy and Tony, Lyndon and Andrea and much loved Grandad of Jason and Barbara, and Cory; Lewis, and Alex; Quinn, and Zoe and great grandchildren Jason, and Liam. A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held at our Chapel, Cnr East and Cox Streets, Ashburton on Thursday February 16, commencing at 11.00am. Followed by interment at the RSA Section, Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.
NIMOT, Leonard Alfred (Alfie) RNZN No13164 Passed away peacefully at his home on 26 February 2014, aged 82 years. Beloved Husband of Jean. A loved Father, Father in law, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather to Peter Terry and John and all their families. REVELL, Brian Arthur (Baldy) Ex RNZN. Passed away peacefully on 18 February, 2014, at North Shore Hospital, after a brave battle. Dearly missed by sons David and Bevan and sister Barbara. Much loved husband of the late Joan Mairi Campbell nee Doudle, Special friend of Lily McDonald. A service to celebrate Geordie’s life will be held at Our Chapel, cnr East and Cox Streets, Ashburton on Thursday, February 20th commencing at 1.30pm.

HOWE, Richard (Dick) Hamiora D20335 Ex CPOGI, RNZN 1971-1991 , February 4, 2014.  Dick will lie in state at Te Taua Moana Marae from 1300, 5 February 2014 until mid morning 6 Febraury 2014. Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, 5th February, 2014, aged 61 years. Dearly loved husband of Vera. Much loved dad of Lydia; and Richard. Dearly treasured koro of Chelize. “If love could build a stairway, and memories a lane, we would step our way to Heaven and wheel you home again.”
– Richard will be resting at Maniaroa Marae, Mokau, from 5.00pm, today (Thursday). A service will be held at the Marae on Friday, 7th February, at 11.00am, followed by Kai Hakari, then to Te Iringa, Aria for interment.

Loved Husband and sole mate of Angie. Loved father of Mike, Michelle and Melissa and Charlie and Denise. A much loved Grandad of his 10 Grandchildren.  A private Cremation Service has been held.
