50th Anniversary



Our 50th Anniversary will be celebrated with a Cocktail Evening held at the Navy Museum in Devonport on 6 October 2017.  The evening will commence at 1800 and the Maritime Commander, Commodore Jim Gilmour has put it in his diary to attend and be our VIP for the evening. Commodore Gilmour started off his life in the RNZN as an Ordinary Radio Operator.

Dress for the evening will be jacket and tie with miniature medals and service dress equivalent.  Numbers for the evening will be restricted to 150 persons.

During the evening Commodore Gilmour will present the James Dell Communications Trophy, the Ruth Slight Trophy and the Communicator of the Year Award.

A Registration Form can now be downloaded by clicking this LINK.  In addition, the Registration Form also provides you with the ability to order a 50th Anniversary polo shirt, the logo of which can be viewed by clicking HERE.  Ladies and Men’s shirts are available in different styles and sizes.   There will be no stock of these shirts held by the Association and there will be no door sales on the night.  So get your orders in with your registration.
