2OO7 AGM Report

I am pleased to report that the AGM for your Association was held on 22 September 2007 at Ngataringa Bay Sports Complex. Numbers attending the meeting were down on previous years which was a little disappointing. Thank you for all those who took the time to send in their apologies.  
Some major changes to the Membership section of the Constitution were passed and I would urge you to have a look at the updated document (Click here for Constitution).  
Foundation Membership has now been incorporated into the Association and I would encourage you all to have a look and consider if you would like to take this opportunity to further support your Association. The fees for Full membership of the Association has increased from $20 to $25 and there are still a number of communicators out there who have yet to dig deep and formally join the Association. 
Your Committee was re-elected with Yvonne Van Guens accepting the position of Secretary and Barry Jordan moving to a member position. Thank you Barry for the work you have carried out over the past as Secretary of the Association.  
Full speed ahead for the 2009 Reunion in Nelson so start saving your pennies and make sure you attend. To you South Islanders, This is your chance to attend with the Reunion being held on your back door. 
The meeting was closed and members enjoyed the refreshments and food provided by the Association. Thank you again for all those who took the time to be part of the AGM.
