50 YEARS ON!!

Fifty years on from when HMNZS BLACPOOL was commissioned into the RNZN. HMNZS BLACKPOOL was on loan to the RNZN while HMNZS CANTERBURY was being built. Here is an image of the Commissioning Crew of Communicators.

      Went to Greymouth a couple of months ago and tried to track him down. I was told he had left Greymouth but to where I have not found out. We are going back the the West Coast in October so will track him down this time.
