  1. Michael Catlow says:

I would nominate the RP part of the seamens branch as radar was important to wartime Naval ships around that time and believe some ordinary seamen were trained as RDF operators at Mt Victoria about 1942

  2. Trev Appleton says:

= In 1942 a specialist training school was built on Mount Victoria to train selected Ordinary Seamen in what branch? = K

    Answer:___
    Seamen (RDF)

  3. Albie Cross says:

the school was set up to train O.D’s to be RDF (radar) specialists. I recall a right arm badge resembling forked lightning embraced in what looked like a spider web with an R in the centre . I may be a bit hazy on that but I also understand that they had to be able to write backwards (?) .
